The end of July and early August is a popular time in É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ for leases to end, resulting in hundreds of students moving out during a short period of time. To reduce the amount of items left behind or unnecessary waste added to landfill, Off-Campus Housing & Neighborhood Relations, the CU Environmental Center, the city of É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥, and the É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ Area Rental Housing Association have created a pilot program in the University Hill neighborhood.Ìý

Volunteers are needed to help set up and take down move-out stations, talk to students to advise them on what stream their items should go (landfill, reuse, hard-to-recycle), as well as walking the neighborhood to engage with students that are moving out to direct them to our move-out stations and locate any trash piles that may be starting to form.Ìý
