Teaching and Research
Dr. Tina Pittman Wagers is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Raimy Clinic in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. ÌýShe teaches and supervises Clinical PhD students and teaches one upper-level undergraduate class on evidence-based psychotherapy. In the past, she’s also taught classes on Abnormal Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Women’s Mental Health. Dr. Pittman Wagers is the recipient of departmental awards for teaching, service and was co-recipient of the Dorothy Martin Award in 2012.
Dr. Pittman Wagers has published in the area of couples therapy, integration of mental health care into health care settings, and experiences of/treatments for Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) patients.
Her current research and clinical interests involve campus mental health, pedagogy and wellness, psychosocial resources for patients with SCAD, and gun violence and mental health.
