- Maiji Castro, who graduates summa cum laude with a degree in art history and a minor in Italian, has been named the fall 2016 outstanding graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences at the É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥.
- Natalie Ahn, a professor of distinction in the department of chemistry and biochemistry at the É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥, was elected president of The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology last year and began her term as president-elect in July.
- Three É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ professors have won prestigious fellowships from the American Council of Learned Societies. The three are among 69 fellows chosen from 1,100 applicants.
