Link Your CU Email to Your Coursera Account
After you register for your first É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ for-credit course hosted on Coursera, you’ll receive an email asking you to configure your Coursera account with your program. Configuring your account links your Coursera account to É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥, so you can start the mandatory onboarding course and access for-credit content.
STEP 1
Check your É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ email.
- Log in to your É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ email via . See for instructions.
- Check for the email from Coursera inviting you to configure your Coursera account with your É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ program.
- From: Coursera
- Subject: ACTION NEEDED: Link your Coursera account...
- Check your junk, spam, and bulk folders if you do not see the email in your inbox.
- From: Coursera
- Click the blue "Log in" button in the email.
STEP 2
Log in to Coursera.org with your CU credentials.
- In the email from step 1 above, find the blue Log in with É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥Ìý²ú³Ü³Ù³Ù´Ç²Ô. Click that button. (Do ²Ô´Ç³ÙÌýlog in via email.)
- Log in with your CU IdentiKey and password.
STEP 3
Link or create your Coursera account.
If you have a Coursera account already...
- Click on the blue Link existing account button.
If you do NOT have a Coursera account yet...
- Type in your colorado.edu email address and put in a password.
- Click the blue Set Coursera PasswordÌý²ú³Ü³Ù³Ù´Ç²Ô.
Note: You may not have more than 1 Coursera account per the .
STEP 4
Access content on Coursera.
- You will be sent to the degree home page.
- Remember, you will need to complete the onboarding course before accessing for-credit content for the first time.
Troubleshooting Help
If you’re having trouble linking your Coursera account to your program, find your issue below and try the suggested troubleshooting steps.
I can’t find the email invitation to configure my Coursera account with my for-credit program.
- Double check that you’ve claimed and activated your colorado.edu email address. See for instructions.
- Check your university email address again for the invitation email. If you can't find it in the primary inbox, look for it in the spam/junk folder. The email may have been sent there without you knowing.
- Review any communications from É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ for more information.
- If you’re still not sure, contact your dedicated program support email address (below).
I received an error when trying to link my Coursera account to my program.
- Check if you accidentally entered a space at the beginning or end of your password, and then try again. If this doesn’t work, contact your dedicated program support email address (below).
- If you’re using SSO, try entering the credentials provided by your university. If you aren’t sure which credentials to use or if they don’t work, contact your dedicated program support email address.
I’m not able to access my Degree Home and/or start the onboarding course.
- Make sure you're logged into using the account associated with your program.
- Are you logged into a different Coursera account that’s not linked to your for-credit program? If so, contact your dedicated program support email address requesting assistance to merge your accounts. The requires all Coursera learners to register for only one account.
- Are you seeing courses that aren’t part of your program or that you’ve taken in the past? When logged in, click the dropdown arrow next to the Coursera logo in the top-left corner. Select your for-credit program from the list of dashboards to access your Degree Home.
