É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ Education Abroad Administrative Fee

Less than 8% of the CU Education Abroad office expenses are paid by the central campus administration (i.e. from students' tuition & fees). So in order to function, the É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ Education Abroad office charges an administrative fee.ÌýThisÌýfee is essential to fund the operations of the CU Education Abroad office, andÌýa portionÌýof the fee is also placed into the É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ Education Abroad scholarship fund. Most education abroad offices at public universities charge similar fees to their students.

  • All students studying abroad on É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ approved education abroad programs are charged an administrative fee.
  • Non-residents are charged an additional differential fee due toÌýColorado law requiringÌýthat non-resident students be charged a higher rate of tuition for credit earned in residency.ÌýWhile non-residents are not paying for CU tuition during education abroad, they are receiving É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ residence credit for approved CU education abroad programs.
