About Us

Part of the Office of Undergraduate Education, Education Abroad (EA) serves over 2,500 É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ students annually.Ìý

Established in 1960, EA administers hundreds of programs including exchanges, faculty-led, internships, research, and field study programs in more than 60 countries around the world. ÌýWe also serve as a resource for the campus community and support academic units, faculty, and staff as they contribute to É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥â€™s global initiatives and retention efforts.

The supports students with:

  • Program selection and application
  • Academic planning
  • Pre-departure preparations
  • Facilitating the application of federal, state, and institutional financial aid towards the program fee
  • Providing additional scholarship funding
  • Health and safety oversight and support
  • Ongoing support while abroad and after returning to É«½ä³ÉÈËÖ±²¥

Education Abroad placesÌýa high priority on serving a diverse student body. We welcome applications from members of various groups which have traditionally been under-represented in education abroad, including first generation college students, LGBTQÌýstudents, student athletes, students with disabilities, students of color, and older students who have followed non-traditional paths to higher education.
